I believe that our thoughts and feelings are what make us unique. I also believe all of our experiences and interactions mold us into the people we are today and that there is strength in understanding our worth and contributions to our present realities.
I truly enjoy being a mental health counselor intern, especially for the moments of witnessing clients discover new things about themselves and feeling empowered to make decisions confidently about their own lives. My experience as a mental health counselor intern has given me the privilege and the opportunity to continue to lean in and celebrate human resiliency and strength and to hold space for
each individual’s journey toward healing and growth.
I received my Masters Degree from University of Massachusetts (UMASS) in Boston and I have been in the field of mental health since 2015 working within various clinical settings and with a wide range of diverse clients. I have extensive professional experiences working with children, young adults and families in supporting them navigate through critical stages of personal growth and development. My focus is a person-centered approach allowing my clients to lead in discussions, providing a unique and empowering experience.
I believe that therapy should be accessible for everybody and that there is enormous strength in seeking support in navigating life’s difficulties. I strive to consistently provide a safe and authentic space and I pledge to walk beside my clients to assist them in reaching their goals.
